Sonny Rollins to headline Newport jazz fest
Saxist Lad Rollins volition headline this year's jazz festival in Newport, R.I. The JVC Jazz Festival Newport testament be held Aug. 8-10 at Fort up John Adams State Park and at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. More than 2 dozen acts are scheduled to perform, including pianist record album of the class Grammy achiever Herbie John Hancock and trumpeter swan Chris Botti.
